How long does it take to receive my order-once it is placed?

Our current turn around time is 3-5 business days. Need your order sooner than that? Send us a message with your need by date and delivery zip code, and we will check our current schedule and get right back to you.

What is the frame made of? And, does the frame or sign come with hanging hardware installed?

Each custom piece is hand-cut from furniture grade oak; the edges are then sanded and stained by hand to give them a warm aged look. Your design is then professionally printed on archival paper , mounted to the oak board, and a matte finish is hand-painted to the front to seal it and give it a textured look. What makes these art plaques unique is your picture is then “framed” with a hand-painted solid wood frame that is permanently mounted to the front of the piece to give it depth. You can easily change/add your picture from the back just like a "regular frame" glass and all.

All our frames and signs do come with hanging hardware installed so your frame or sign is ready to hang.

Do I have to send you my picture when I order, or can I just insert it when I receive my frame?

It is completely up to you. We are more than happy to print and insert your 4x6, 5x7, or 5x5 picture for you (this works out really well when the frame is sent directly to the recipient) or, you can insert it yourself when you receive your frame. It is super easy to change out your picture at any time. I actually hand-cut an opening out of the wood plaque so that you can easily insert your picture from the back (essentially just like a "regular frame"-glass and all!).

How do I submit my custom information (i.e. name(s), date(s), text, etc?

You will be prompted to leave your custom details/requests in the "Add Personalization Box" when you are checking-out. If you run out of room in the "add personalization box"- there is a larger box in the check-out screen titled "notes to seller box".

Is there a limit to the number of words I can have on my custom frame or sign??

Nope! We can make pretty much make anything “fit” the font may just have to be a little bit smaller. To purchase- all you need to do is add the listing(s) to your cart that is closest to what you have in mind. You will be prompted to add any custom text changes in the "add personalization box". If you run out of room in the "add personalization box"- there is a larger box in the check-out screen titled "notes to seller box".

Do you have a “font list”?

We actually don't have a font list because we are willing to use pretty much any font my customers may request. If you see something you like on one of our other listings-just copy and paste the link so we know which one it is. Or, if you have a particular style or you know the name of the font-just let us know.

I don’t see the background I liked on your “background list” is it still available?

Absolutely! Every year we go through our backgrounds and add some new favorites, get rid of some that were not a “hit” the past year, etc. But, we still have every background we have ever used available. If you have a link to the picture of the one you are interested in-or, if you can describe it to us (we are really good at figuring it out) just let us know

What if there is a mistake with my order?

If your order arrives and something is wrong, please contact us! If it was our error (meaning you entered the information correctly and we made a mistake) we will send you a replacement at no charge! 

In the event that you entered some information incorrectly, we will happily send you a replacement at a discounted price to cover the cost of shipping and materials. Do you give discounts if I order more than one frame or sign?

We do offer multiple order discounts if you order three or more items. Contact us if you are ordering three or more items and we will let you know about our additional discounts and the coupon code to use when you checking out.

International Shipping

Unfortunately we have no way of knowing what the taxes/customs on an International order is going to be.

All orders shipped outside the US may have duty or tax fees that your country may charge you. These are fees that we can not quote you and that The Sugared Plums will not be held responsible for. Please purchase accordingly and cautiously - be aware that you may have to pay duty or tax fees upon accepting your order. The Sugared Plums charges actual shipping fees only.

Due to the custom nature of our product we will not accept returns due to refusal to pay any custom/duties incurred by the buyer.
